<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method for producing packed lunch decreasing the time and investment cost of a packed lunch trader, reducing the material cost of rice and decreasing the microbial contamination of a container by improving a filling system of boiled rice. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the packed lunch containing boiled rice comprises preparing a packed lunch container holding sterile boiled rice in a boiled rice holding division in the container and having a sealed cover on the division, and holding daily dishes in a daily dishes holding division separated from the boiled rice holding division. It is preferable to use a container in which the daily dishes division is sterilized.
