<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easy and sensitive detection of dioxins at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by establishing a bioassay system using a reporter construction containing at least one dioxin response sequence described by at least one sequence number 1, and a gene encoding an alkaline phosphatase and connected to the response sequence in a functioning manner, especially containing a gene encoding a secretion-type alkaline phosphatase.
