PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable lever tumbler lock without forming a swelling section in an outer cylinder and facilitating the conversion of a lock with a different key. SOLUTION: Each lever tumbler of the lever tumbler lock is constituted by combining a tumbler A1A and a tumbler B1B having an approximately C shape and overlapped with each other, a pivot 2 is supported to turn around the axis of an eccentric shaft projected on both ends, an engaging projection 9 is formed in the side opposed to the tumbler B1B of a free end inside edge section of the tumbler A1A, and a plurality of engaging recess sections 11 capable of being engaged with the engaging projection 9 of the tumbler A1A are formed in an inside edge section of the tumbler B1B. The pivot 2 is pushed down in the case of the conversion into a lock with a different key and the engagement of the engaging projection 9 with each engaging recess section 11 is disengaged from each other. An outer cylindrical base section of a lock body is held by the action end of a clothespin-shaped conversion clip, a conversion projection projected to the inside is inserted in an outer cylinder 16 from the work hole 12, and the pivot 2 is pushed down through a spacer ring 15.
