<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit for an electric gate, which facilitates assemblage thereof, and transfers a driving force to gate wheels without energy loss. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the electric gate, two guide rails 30 are arranged in parallel with each other on a ground section between a door stop support 10 and a hanging-side support 20. The hanging-side support 20 has an expandable gate body 40 mounted thereon, which has a hanging-side fixed pole 41 arranged on one end thereof and fixed to the hanging-side support 20, and a freely-traveling door-stop movable pole 42 arranged on the other end thereof. Further an expandable gate main body 43 is arranged between the hanging-side fixed pole 41 and the door-stop movable pole 42. Furthermore the door-stop movable pole 42 has a geared motor 50 arranged in the vicinity of a lower edge thereof, which is formed of a motor 51, a reduction gear mechanism 52, and an output shaft 53, and driving wheels 46 are directly fixed to both ends of the output shaft 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
