PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower capable of reducing the noise of disturbance by improving the structure of the blades of an impeller to suppress the disturbance. SOLUTION: In this blower having the impeller formed of a plurality of fan-shaped blades 2 installed around a hub 1, each of the blades 2 comprises a frame 3 of a rigid member extending from the leading edge part to the outer peripheral part and an air permeable film 4 of an air permeable member producing, on the inside thereof, a leak flow for reducing noise according to a pressure difference between a pressure surface and a negative pressure surface. The trailing edge part of the blade 2 is formed of only the permeable film 4 without forming a frame to reduce a velocity defect produced at a wake. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
