A process for producing a curved vehicle screen, comprises applying a plastic film (22) on a curved sheet of glass (18) using a die (24), to form a composite material (26). The latter is heat treated at reduced pressure, to laminate the plastic to the glass. Before the pressure is reduced, a flexible spacing member (30) is placed between the glass sheet and the die, to simplify the removal of air. The spacer is integrated into the composite material during lamination. The spacer consists of EVA, PVB or TPU, and is in the form of a bag with a core. The plastic film consists of PET or PC. The core consists of a melt adhesive film or paraffin.
