<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of reducing driver's damage by securing the sufficient amount of energy absorption at the time of secondary collision even when a moving stroke of a steering column is limited. <P>SOLUTION: The steering device is constituted that it is provided with a first part 63a extending in the axial length direction of the steering column 1 and a second part 63b which is continued to the lower end of the first part 63a and extends to the intersecting direction with the first part 63a in a long hole 63 provided on a support bracket 6 of the vehicle body side of the steering column 1 so as to deform to absorb the energy at occurrence of the secondary collision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
