摘要 <p>The worm (6) for a worm drive forms part of a shaft with a plain bearing at each end. The ends of the shaft rotate in bores (5) in bushes (4) whose axes coincide with the rotational axis (3) of the worm. The outside diameters of the bushes fit in bores (2) in a drive housing (1). The bores are at the same angle of 1-4 degrees especially 2 degrees to the rotational axis, so that a synchronized longitudinal movement of the bushes gives a small lateral movement of the worm shaft.</p>
