PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display element in which connection wiring used in aging treatment can be formed to a prescribed resistance value. SOLUTION: The substrate for the organic EL display element is formed with a plurality of organic EL display elements having a positive electrode wiring, an organic EL layer, and a negative electrode wiring, a first common wiring 3 which is connected to a positive electrode wiring 1 of the plurality of organic EL display elements through a positive electrode connection wiring 5, and a second common wiring 4 which is connected to a negative electrode wiring 2 of the plurality of organic EL display elements through a negative electrode connection wiring 6.
