PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element which is thermally stable and which can be produced easily, and which is superior in light-emitting characteristics and polarization characteristics (polarized light emission). SOLUTION: This is the light-emitting element having a layer formed from a compound expressed by a general formula (1). In the formula (1), A is a substitutable hetero ring which contains at least one of heteroatoms, and Ar<SP>1</SP>and Ar<SP>2</SP>are respectively and independently substitutable aromatic rings. B<SP>1</SP>and B<SP>2</SP>are respectively and independently polymerizable substituting group. C<SP>1</SP>and C<SP>2</SP>respectively and independently show normal chains of carbon number 1 to 20, branched or a cyclic alkyl group. n<SP>1</SP>and n<SP>2</SP>are integers of 0, 1, or 2, but both are not 0.
