PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk drive which reduces the vibration of a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) when a head actuator changes a posture. SOLUTION: A fixing member 25 is separated from the head actuator 15 at a prescribed space. The FPC 24 is extended from the head actuator 15 to the fixing member 25. The FPC 24 is superposed on the surface of the fixing member 25. On the surface of the FPC 24, a viscoelastic layer 35 and a protective layer 36 are laminated. The fixing member 25, the FPC 24, the viscoelastic layer 35, and the protective layer 36 are held by a metal clip 26. In order to position a head slider 21, the head actuator 15 changes the posture relatively with respect to a recording disk 13. When the head actuator 15 stands still, the FPC 24 is vibrated based on the inertia of the change of the posture. Residual vibration like this is absorbed by the viscoelastic layer 35.
