<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient desulfurization method of using desulfurization slag together with a lime-based desulfurizing agent, as a desulfurizing agent. <P>SOLUTION: This desulfurization method comprises recovering the desulfurization slag S produced by desulfurization, storing it in a slag-recovering pot 3, tilting the slag-recovering pot 3 toward a hot metal ladle 4 which stores molten pig iron to be desulfurized, charging the high-temperature desulfurization slag S1 into the hot metal ladle, then stirring the molten pig iron, and then charging a new lime-based desulfurizing agent 9. The desulfurization method also comprises recovering the desulfurization slag S produced in the desulfurization step, storing it in the slag-recovering pot 3, and using it for desulfurizing a new molten pig iron. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
