<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon black high-dispersed body used for preparing a gas diffusion electrode, to provide a production apparatus therefor, and to provide a composition for preparing a gas diffusion electrode by a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: Carbon black is dispersed into water using a nonionic surfactant in such a manner that the average particle diameter of the carbon black is controlled to ≤2,000 nm. Electrodes are arranged in the obtained carbon black-dispersed liquid, voltage is applied between the electrodes to allow the carbon black to cause the electrophoresis of the carbon black, and the carbon black is accumulated in either electrode, so as to be high concentration carbon black-dispersed body. The carbon black-dispersed body and a PTEF (polytetrafluoroethylene) dispersion are mixed, thus the composition for preparing a gas diffusion electrode in which the concentration of solid matter is high, and which has low viscosity and is easy to be treated is prepared. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
