<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soft magnetic metal powder suitable for the production of an electronic component such as a cable having excellent flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: The soft magnetic metal powder contains main components composed of iron, silicon and chromium, wherein, regarding the content of each element in 100 atomic% of the main components, 60 to 78 atomic% iron, 18 to 30 atomic% silicon and 0 to 19 atomic% (exclusive of 0 atomic%) chromium are contained. The soft magnetic metal powder has a weight mean particle diameter of 5 to 30 μm and a particle distribution in which the ratio of coarse particles of ≥100 μm is ≤5%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
