<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric-powered hydraulic clutch having an electric motor, an oil pressure or a hydraulic fluid circuit, and a multiple disc friction clutch pack. <P>SOLUTION: The electric-powered hydraulic clutch comprises the electric motor 80 with both directions, the hydraulic fluid circuit, and the multiple disc friction clutch pack 190. The electric motor with both directions drives a ball screw 144 through a gear reduction assembly. The ball screw output transfers a master piston 130 of the hydraulic fluid circuit and next, the master piston advances and retreats an annular dependent piston located in the neighborhood of the friction clutch pack. Accordingly, the electric motor is actuated for moving the hydraulic fluid and the friction clutch pack is compressed and relaxed, whereby a torque is communicated or blocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
