PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material for a household electric appliance such as a microwave oven wherein a corrugated board is used, a maintenance cost of a packaging material is reduced, cost reduction of the packaging material is attempted, a assembling work can be smoothly performed, and recycling after use is easy. SOLUTION: This packing material is constituted as follows. A laminated board part 41 is formed by intersecting a lower bottom face board 15 and an upper bottom face board 13 of corrugated boards 11 and 12 of a lower cushioning material and laminating them. Side face part supporting body forming pieces 16a connected with both sides of the lower bottom face board 15 through a plurality of folding lines 40, and front face part supporting body forming pieces 14a connected with both sides of the upper bottom face board 13 through a plurality of folding lines 40, are respectively folded inside by the folding lines 40 from the end face sides to form side face part supporting bodies 16 and front face part supporting bodies 14 respectively piled up at least three layers for a cylindrical body. Side face part hooking pieces 37a and front face part hooking pieces 27a respectively provided are respectively inserted into rectangular holes 15a and 13a provided on the lower bottom face board 15 and the upper bottom face board 13, to fix an assembling shape of the side face part supporting bodies 16 and the front face part supporting bodies 14.
