PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation switch device which suppresses the fatigue of a hand in a game operation and withstands long-term use or the like, and a drum type game machine loaded with it. SOLUTION: The drum type game machine such as a slot machine SM is provided with a stop switch SU for stopping the rotation of respective reels 23. The stop switch SU incorporates reflection type sensors respectively corresponding to the respective reels 23. A player turns on the reflection type sensor by bringing a finger close to a detection part 100 formed on the surface of the stop switch SU and performs the operation of selectively stopping the reels 23.
