PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle limiting speed alarm device capable of recognizing a running speed display, a limiting speed display and a warning device easily and surely with a simple and inexpensive constitution without providing a special display part. SOLUTION: This vehicle limiting speed alarm device has an analog pointer-type speed meter 11 having a vehicle speed gradation 12 and the pointer 13 for reading the vehicle speed, and a limiting speed operation means 1 for operating the limiting speed at the present vehicle running position. The alarm device also has a limiting speed display means 4 for analog-displaying the limiting speed synchronously with the vehicle speed gradation 12 in the speed meter 11, a speed comparison means 2 for comparing the limiting speed operated by the limiting speed operation means 1 with the present vehicle speed, and a display control means 2 for controlling a display form of the limiting speed display means 4 and/or the pointer 13 based on the comparison result by the speed comparison means 2.
