PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator comprising an evaporator improved in its heat conductivity and abrasion resistance and having anti-bacterial property by itself without increasing its cost. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator 10 comprising the evaporator 11 inside, surface treatment is performed on a surface of the evaporator composed of an aluminum plate to form a coating film C. The surface treatment is performed after molding the evaporator 11, and a type of the evaporator 11 is either of plate type, roll bond type, pipe-on fin type, pipe-on sheet type or fin and tube type.
