PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide composition excellent in flame-retardancy, tenacity and melt flow properties and excellent in heat resistance in reflow soldering step required in surface mounting, stability in color, suitable for electrical/electronic parts use, by solving environmental problems resulting from antimony compound, and problem of gas generation which is a main reason of mold deposit in combined use of a flame-retardant containing bromine. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the flame-retardant polyamide composition comprising (A) 10-80 mass% of the polyamide, (B) 5-40 mass% of the flame-retardant, (C) 0.5-10 mass% of zinc borate and at least one kind of other zinc salts, (D) 0-60 mass% of an inorganic reinforcing material, and (E) 0.5-5 mass% of a drip preventing agent.
