PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen utensil capable of being easily used for peeling and shredding cooked object such as vegetables and fruits. SOLUTION: The kitchen utensil 1 is provided with a handle member 2 which functions as a handle, a support member 3 which extends from the handle member 2 to cross directions, a peeling blade member 4 having an opening 17 which is supported by the support member 3 at the two ends and is formed in a long slit of longitudinal direction and a blade 18 which is linearly made in one edge of the opening 17 and a shredding blade member 5 which has plural blades 20 arranged in a longitudinal line at the front end and is supported by the support member 3 so that it can slide to cross directions between a use position in which the blades 20 partially project from the opening 17 of the peeling blade member 4 and a retracted position in which the blades 20 do not project from the opening 17 of the peeling blade member 4.
