<p>To provide a piezoelectric pump driving circuit that realizes, with low power consumption, a cooling apparatus that is small in size and light in weight, that can drive a piezoelectric pump with low noise, and that can perform a reliable operation even during startup. The piezoelectric element of the piezoelectric pump is driven by an output signal of an amplifier that receives a signal generated by a sinusoidal oscillator and having the same frequency that drives the piezoelectric pump. The power supply for the amplifier is driven by a high voltage to which the voltage of a low-voltage power supply has been converted by a booster converter. Accordingly, the piezoelectric element is driven by the sinusoidal high voltage of a low frequency. Further, the frequency of the sinusoidal oscillator is adjusted by a signal from a first control circuit during startup. Moreover, the amplitude of the sinusoidal oscillator is adjusted by an output signal from a second control circuit that receives a signal from a temperature sensor that determines the temperature of a heat-producing object.</p> |
