The front unit, for furniture, has a base plate (12), and two decorative plates as a flat mirror (14) and angled flanking plates (16). The facing and parallel edges of the two decorative plates and the mirror are held together by spacer bars (18), with an outer cover (20) to bridge the gap between them, and hold the decorative structure at a gap from the base plate. The outer edges of the outer decorative plates are held at the base plate by beveled profiles (22).
