A washer fitting for a windscreen wiper has a hollow wiper arm (2) to duct the washer fluid and is fitted with an adaptor (3) at the free end. The adaptor has integral washer sprays (6) to direct washer fluid onto the windscreen close to the wiper blade, and is also fitted with the wiper blade assembly (1). The hollow wiper arm has a narrow rectangular profile and includes wires for electric heaters in the jets. The fluid connection is via a central duct through the wiper stub.
