It is intended to provide an economical and safe method of regenerating dentin and a material therefor. Namely, a method of regenerating dentin characterized by comprising culturing pulp cells with the use of a complex material containing non-collagenous phosphorylated protein and collagen as a scaffold; and a material for repairing dentin which is prepared by crosslinking a non-collagenous phosphorylated protein with collagen by using divinylsulfone or 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminoprooyl)carbodiamide followed by freeze-drying or gelling by heating.
