PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring gasket which has a simple structure without use of other members such as metal grommets, but positively prevents permeation leaking by inhibiting peeling of an impervious member. SOLUTION: The ring gasket 10 comprises expanded graphite having outstanding characteristics of thermal resistance, airtightness, and stress relaxation, and is formed by press-forming a base material 11 having a laminar internal-structure into a sheet, which is punched in the ring shape. On its internal periphery 12, an insertion part 13 formed of a slit and a pair of non-insertion part 14, 14 are provided, which are adjoined on both sides in the direction of thickness in the inside of the insertion part 13. A 1st impervious material 15, which is solid at normal temperature, is provided to the insertion part 13. In the pair of non-insertion parts 14, 14, a 2nd impervious material 16 such as wax, grease, and sealant, which are solid at normal temperature, is provided in the manner to cover the 1st impervious material 15 in the insertion part 13.
