摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display which is able to improve its uniformity of display by reducing the peeled orientation films adhering again in the transfer when processing by rubbing and thus suppressing the stripes or scratches caused by rubbing. SOLUTION: An array substrate 1 which has pixel electrodes, thin film transistors, and an orientation film; and an opposite substrate 2 which has a color filter layer, opposite electrodes, and an orientation film; are formed in face to face with each other with a liquid crystal layer interposed therein, then a transfer is formed to connect the common wiring 4 on the array substrate and the opposite electrodes 6 on the opposite substrate. The transfer is built by connecting the wiring pads connected to the common wiring on the array substrate and the connector electrodes facing the wiring pads around the opposite electrodes. The wiring pads are formed in island shapes excluding corners of angles 90°or less, and the peripheries of the opposite electrodes includes the areas facing the wiring pads and substantially do not have projections.
