PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect accurately the fuel quantity in a fuel chamber in a fuel storing device having a plurality of portions displaceable in a form different corresponding to the fuel quantity in the fuel chamber. SOLUTION: In this fuel storing device equipped with the fuel chamber for storing the fuel, wherein the volume of the fuel chamber is changed corresponding to the change of the fuel quantity in the fuel chamber, at least two portions of a member forming the fuel chamber are displaceable in the fuel storing device corresponding to the fuel quantity in the fuel chamber, and the fuel quantity in the fuel chamber is detected based on displacement of at least the two portions.
