PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device capable of preventing dust from infiltrating into it while securing smooth rotation of a rotor. SOLUTION: This information input device is composed of a flat disk-like base 10, a flexible substrate 20 on the top of which hole elements 28a, 28b are mounted and which is mounted on the top of the base 10, a spindle 17 protrusively provided in the center of the top of the base 10, a rotor 30 which has a flat shape capable of covering the base 10 and which is rotatably supported with the axis of the spindle 17 as a center, a magnet 41 in which a N pole and a S pole are alternately disposed in a ring shape with a prescribed angular pitch kept and which is concentrically integrated with the under side of the rotor 30, and a ring-shaped and slidable contact sheet 42 pasted to and integrated with either one of the peripheral rim parts of the peripheral rim part on the top of the base 10 or the peripheral rim part on the under surface of the rotor 30.
