The invention relates to a mold closing unit (1) of an injection molding machine comprising articulated levers (6, 7) and a lubricating device for the pivoting bearing which is characterized by a lubricant return system (21). A lubricant pressure generator (13) and a lubricant guide cycle provide a circulation lubrication system (18) for at least one highly loaded bearing (Lst I, Lst II, Lst III). Especially when the bearing is sealed off towards the outside, any loss of lubricant on the bearings connected to the system can be largely avoided so that an optimum lubrication of the bearings can be guaranteed with e.g. 2 x 5 liters of lubricant oil per year.
