PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail delivery server configured so that an image taken by an e-mail transmitter can be reproduced on a communication terminal of an e-mail receiver, in which an e-mail with image file can be vividly reproduced on a receiving terminal when the e-mail with image file is transmitted. SOLUTION: The server 20 transmits, on receipt of the mail 510 with image file, a mail 521 with an URL necessary for acquisition of a multimedia file 522 in which an image 510 and a text 512 are composed so as to be simultaneously reproducible on the receiving terminal 30 to the receiving terminal 30. When the receiving terminal 30 which received the mail with URL accesses the server 20 with the URL by clicking the part of URL on the terminal 30, the server 20 transmits the multimedia file 522 to the terminal 30. In the terminal 30, the image 510 of the original e-mail 510 is displayed, and the text 512 of the original e-mail 510 is displayed so as to run on-screen subtitles. Instead of transmitting the mail with URL 521 to the terminal 30, a mail with the multimedia file may be transmitted to the terminal 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
