DRIVER PROGRAM, PRINTING SYSTEM, AND PRINTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver program or the like with which effective density correction can efficiently be carried out without user's time and effort in the case that only unidirectional communication from a host device to a printer is available in a print system comprising the host device for making a print request and the printer for carrying out printing on the basis of the print request.

SOLUTION: The driver program for allowing the host device for transmitting print data to the printer to execute generation processing of the print data makes the host device execute the steps of: carrying out density correction processing according to a density correction function stored in the host device at generation of the print data; correcting the stored density correction function on the basis of input coefficients when the coefficients of the density correction function are input to the host device and selecting a proper table on the basis of a value of secular factors and the input coefficients when the coefficients are input among a plurality of tables stored in the host device and wherein the coefficients of the density correction function are determined in accordance with each value of the secular factors; and thereafter properly correcting the density correction function on the basis of the value of the secular factors and the selected table.
