PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply update the firmware of equipment operated by the firmware without using a personal computer. SOLUTION: By using the communication function of a cellular phone 1, the update firmware for updating the firmware of a digital camera 2 is downloaded from a firmware-providing server 3.
