<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an auto-regenerating filter for removing harmful gas, by which harmful gas in the indoor air, particularly, harmful gas such as formaldehyde and acetaldehyde being main causative agents of a sick house syndrome can be removed efficiently, which exerts a very rapid action on harmful gas when air is purified and whose function of removing harmful gas can be regenerated automatically without necessitating a special regenerating means. <P>SOLUTION: This filter for removing harmful gas has such a structure that the main body portion 11 of this filter or the surface layer portion of an air passage is composed of a material obtained by combining a moisture absorbing material 12 and a normal temperature-active catalyst 13, and a condensed water curtain 14 for dissolving water-soluble harmful gas contained in the air is formed on the surface of the moisture absorbing material 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
