PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a hair cosmetic which has an effect for visually beautifully showing hair. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic is characterized by comprising the following components (A) and/or (B) and the following component (C). (A) A W/O type molecule structure having a highly water-containing ability. (B) A molecular structure having a gel phase region at a water-existing rate of≤40%. (C) An oily component different from oils constituting the molecular structures of the components (A) and (B). The component (C) desirably has a refractive index of≤1.470 or is a silicone transparent emulsion. The hair cosmetic is characterized by comprising one or more of the components (A) and (B) having an effect for showing a faded color as a color near to the non-faded color on colored hair, and the component (C) having a refractive index of≤1.470.
