TRANSFORMER STATION WITH A RETENTION TANK

The transformer station comprises a transformer (1) surrounded externally by an envelope (2) containing a dielectric liquid for electrically insulating and cooling the transformer (1). A retention tank (5) is located underneath the bottom (2A) of the envelope (2) containing the transformer (1). The bottom of the retention tank is located substantially at ground level. The retention tank is used to collect any leakages of dielectric liquid. The tank (5) comprises lateral partitions (6) which externally cover the envelope (2). The upper part of the envelope (2) is externally covered by a bell-shaped inverted receptacle (7). The protection and connection cabinet (14) is disposed vertically in an external position and opposite one (8) of the lateral partitions of the inverted receptacle (7) and a lateral partition (6) of the retention tank ((). The lateral partition (15) of the cabinet (14) is separated from the lateral partition (2b) of the envelope (2) by means of a cross-member (16) through which HTA and BT cables linked to the transformer pass.
