摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame body for a civil engineering structure capable of increasing flexural rigidity of a side wall part and utilizing weight of a filling material to be filled effectively. SOLUTION: Each long member 8 assembled into a well curb shape has a flat platelike part 8a exposing inner and outer faces to the outside so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of each long member 8a. A plate face of the platelike part 8a is directed to a side, and air is taken in so that a part of weight of the filling material is not offset based on buoyancy. Each long member 8 has a pair of overhanging parts 8b, 8c overhanging in parallel from both sides in the direction of width of the platelike part 8a. While reducing amount of used material of each long member 8 when compared with a long member composed of a cylindrical body, the pair of overhanging parts 8b, 8c act as reinforcing member (a kind of rib) effectively for bending using both end parts of the platelike part 8a as fulcrum.
