<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate automatic editing which is performed based on a sample moving image, so that automatic editing can be performed by considering which part of the moving image prior to editing should be extracted. <P>SOLUTION: In a moving image editing device, editing is performed on a moving image which includes one or more scenes and comes with one or more shots. The moving image editing device comprises: an interface unit which, upon receiving specification of a moving image to be edited and specification of an edited sample moving image including a plurality of extracted scenes, designates editing information which corresponds to the specified sample image and which includes scene information showing scenes extracted from a shot; a scene information analysis unit which calculates on the basis of the determined editing information an indicator relating to the length of each scene constituting the sample moving image and a feature amount with respect to the shot of each scene; and a scene extraction unit which determines scenes to be extracted from the shot included in the moving image to be edited, on the basis of the length related indicator and the feature amount about the shot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
