<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connection device which releases an engagement of an engaging element and a first connector element when inserting a second connector element, and enable the engaging element to move in its insertion direction, thereby providing excellent workability. <P>SOLUTION: The engaging element 13 is engaged with the first connector element 11 by engaging on the side of a flexible other end of a cantilevered flexible portion 24 when the engaging element 13 is inserted through an aperture 16 of the first connector element 11. When the second connector 12 is inserted into the first connector element 11, the other end of the cantilevered flexible portion 24 is bent to move in the direction perpendicular to the insertion direction, and thus the engagement with the first connector element 11 is released to enable the engaging element 13 to move in the insertion direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
