<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which clearly grasps connection of images of a plurality of pages even when a transmitted image is divided into the images of the plurality of pages corresponding to recording paper to be outputted. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is provided with an image division part 82 which receives the transmitted image larger than size of the recording paper to be outputted and divides the transmitted image into first and second images, an auxiliary image extraction part 85 which extracts an image of a predetermined line equivalent to capacity of a free area of a second memory area as an auxiliary image from the last line of the first image and a memory update part 86 which updates image data of an image memory 4 so that the auxiliary image is printed on a second recording surface of the recording paper together with the second image G2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
