PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to reduce a shunt current (leakage current) flowing between electrodes and the electrolytic solution in the liquid distribution conduit tubes via a diaphragm by increasing the electrical resistivity between the diaphragm and the electrolytic solution in the liquid distribution conduit tubes. SOLUTION: This is a redox flow battery cell which is composed of the diaphragm 1, first and second bipolar plates arranged to pinch the diaphragm 1 between them, first and second electrodes (4a, 4b) arranged between the diaphragm and the bipolar plates, first and second frames (3a, 3b) that support and fix the outer periphery of the first and the second bipolar plates, liquid distribution ports (9, 10, 11, 12) which are penetration holes installed at the frames, and sealing means 31 of the liquid distribution ports, while the sealing means 31 is the redox flow battery cell positioned on the outside of the diaphragm 1.
