PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter device capable of preventing a lens unit from falling off. SOLUTION: The adapter device for attaching the lens unit 5 which can be attached to/detached from the lens part 3 of the imaging apparatus 1 to the lens part 3 is equipped with a unit holding part 51 holding the lens unit 5, a pair of cover members 52 and 53 which is provided to face to each other through a hinge part 56 in the unit holding part 51, one of which a locking projecting part 58 is provided on, the other of which a locking hole 61 is provided on and which holds the outer circumference part of the outer circumferential surface of the lens unit 5 when the cover members 52 and 53 are combined by engaging the projecting part 58 in the locking hole 61, and a locking piece 54 provided on the hinge part 56 side of a pair of cover members 52 and 53 and locked in a locking groove 32 provided near the lens part 3 of the imaging apparatus 1 when the cover members 52 and 53 are combined.
