Peptide Nucleic Acid (PNA) antisense specific for inducible nitric oxide (iNOS) wherein the PNA compound is composed from nucleic acid sequence targeting iNOS, a peptide ligand which binds to a specific receptor, a positively charge moeity and an hydrophobic moiety. The invention also relates to the use of these compounds for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative disorders, acute brain insults or other diseases where iNOS is involved. |
