<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with high reliability that suppresses defects and short circuiting, by winding deviations, while eliminating the bias in the distribution of electrolyte components and suppressing the deterioration of cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a positive electrode 10, a cathode 20, a separator 30 arranged between the positive electrode 10 and the cathode 20, and electrolytes 41, 42 provided between the positive electrode 10 and the separator 30, and between the cathode 20 and the separator 30. The positive electrode 10 comprises a positive electrode current collector layer 11 and a positive electrode active material layer 12 formed on the positive electrode current collector layer 11. The cathode 20 comprises a negative electrode current collector 21 and a negative electrode active material 22 formed on the negative collector 21. The width of the positive electrode current collector 11 on non-formed parts on the both surfaces of the positive electrode active material layer 12 on a winding outer circumferential side is made narrower than that of the positive electrode current collector 11 on the formed parts of the positive electrode active material layer 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
