PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the frequent occurrence of notices to a user caused by re-reception of data under a reception unstable environment results in bringing discomfort to the user in the case that a data broadcast receiver informs the user about a data reception state every time the data broadcast receiver receives data of data broadcast. SOLUTION: The data broadcast receiver is provided with: a data reception means for receiving data of data broadcast; a notice means for noticing of the data reception state; and a reception state detection means for detecting the reception state, and the data broadcast receiver does not activate the notice means when the data reception means again receives the data in the case that the reception state detection means detects a change in the reception state, so that the data broadcast receiver informs the user at a frequency of notices that is caused at a degree of not bringing discomfort to the user.
