PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare toilet water preventing discoloration of a coloring matter with a perfume and having good stability with time without changing the color tone and scent tone in the toilet water. SOLUTION: A pH buffer is added to prevent the discoloration of the coloring matter with the perfume in the toilet water comprising 10-80 wt.% of ethanol. An acid dye or a natural pigment is exemplified as the coloring matter easily discolored. For example, an aqueous solution of a readily soluble salt such as a phosphate, a citrate, an acetate, a carbonate, a lactate or a trishydroxymethylaminomethane hydrochloride or Good's buffer solution is used as the pH buffer.
