<p>The painting roller according to the invention comprises a pump (21, 48), actuated by the rolling of the roller (5) for self-supply of the paint to the roller (5) itself. In a first embodiment, the pump (21) comprises two membrane valves (26, 27), which provide a good seal and enable the paint to be raised up to 6-8 metres in height. The pump (21) can be actuated with a desmodromic-cam system (36, 36, 37, 39), and the flow rate can be regulated with a sliding-block system (39B) by varying the 10 inclination of the pump (21) or else using a spring-knob system (47G). Alternatively, the pump (48) can be of a peristaltic type, actuated via a system with reversal of motion that enables actuation of the pump irrespective of the direction of rolling of the roller (5).</p> |
