PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic idle stop vehicle for smoothly performing automatic stop and restart of an engine, even in a vehicle mounting a manual transmission thereon. SOLUTION: In the automatic idle stop vehicle mounting the manual transmission thereon, the engine is automatically stopped under a predetermined condition when the vehicle is stopped. When a clutch is not disconnected with a hand clutch and a gear position is other than a neutral position, an actuator is urged to rotate a clutch lifter shaft up to a clutch disconnection position, and then the engine is automatically stopped. Further, when a predetermined engine restart condition is satisfied, a braking operation is performed, and the vehicle is in a state of either disconnection of the clutch by the hand clutch or neutral gear position, the engine is started and the actuator is urged to rotate the clutch lifter up to a clutch connection position.
