IMMORTALIZED CELL LINE DERIVED FROM NON-HUMAN KNOCKOUT ANIMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cells capable of carrying out a functional analysis of a sugar chain with a sugar chain structure without fucose modification and capable of producing a sugar protein having sugar chain structure without fucose modification and having a high physiological activity.

SOLUTION: The invention relates to the immortalized cell line derived from non-human knockout animal, which is a knockout genome gene of enzyme associated with sugar chain modification bonding to form anα-bonding on 1st position of fucose to 6th position of N-acetylglucosamine on the N-glycoside linkage complex type sugar chain reducing end. The invention relates to the transformant of the immortalized cell line, use of the immortalized cell line and method for preparing thereof.
