<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wiring board that is easy to manufacture, has a high accuracy of optical components and a high degree of freedom in the layout and is optically connectable with small loss, and also to provide an optical bus system and a manufacturing method of the optical wiring board. <P>SOLUTION: The optical wiring board is equipped with a first holding substrate and a second holding substrate which is mounted on the first holding substrate where a light transmitting medium and optical fibers are arranged, wherein the light transmitting medium and the optical fibers are fixed on the second holding substrate by covering at least a part or the entirety of the second holding substrate with a protective layer. In the manufacturing method of the optical wiring board, an abutting jig is positioned on a base substrate, the light transmitting medium is arranged on the base substrate while the light transmitting medium is butted against this abutting jig, and successively the optical fibers are arranged on the base substrate while the light incident/exit cross section and the outer circumferential face of the optical fibers are each butted against the light transmitting medium and the abutting jig, thereby the positioning of the medium and the optical fibers in the parallel direction is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
